Events set at Jacksonville First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville will hold "A Taste of Strawberries" event during Jacksonville's Taste of Summer from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the historic church located at the corner of California and Sixth streets. The event will include servings of strawberry shortcake for a suggested donation of $3, and a gospel music performance by the River of Life Band.

A video-driven women's Bible study called "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed" will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 and run through July 23 at 425 Middle St. Cost is $16. Call 541-899-1287 to reserve a book.

Christ Unity Church offers sacred healing meditation

A sacred healing meditation will be held at noon Saturday, June 8, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St. The event focuses on enhancing self-esteem and deepening spiritual connections.

Events run over 3 days at Center for Spiritual Living

The Rev. Joy-Anne Fournier will speak on "The Wind Against Your Face" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 3581 Lear Way, Medford. A children's program will be held during the service.
