Donald J. Crawford, 86, of Medford, Ore. died May 25, 2013. Don was born January 17, 1927, to parents Joseph Henry and Cecelia (McKinnon) Crawford in Medford, Ore.

Don lived his entire life in Medford. He was employed by Timber Products for 24 years, retiring in 1991. He was the first of four generations to attend Washington Elementary School. Don enjoyed golf (having golfed all over the U.S. and England), travel, and bowling. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, 1st United Methodist Church, Oregon Golf Assoc., and an adult member of the Boy Scouts of America and Camp Fire U.S.A. Don served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1947 and the Navy Reserve for 12 years. He was a Plank-Owner of the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Don married Anne (Hays) Crawford June 22, 1951, who survives him. Also surviving are his son, Joseph Crawford, previously of Medford; foster son, Blake Stallsworth (Marcie), of Drain, Ore.; daughters, Carole Rees and Shirley Crawford, of Medford, and Cyndy Crawford, of Severn, Md.; foster daughters, Diane Clark (Randy), of Grants Pass, Ore., and Carolyn Parton (Les), of Prineville, Ore.; brother, Jim Crawford, of Eatonville, Wash.; five grandchildren; six foster grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight foster great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Buster and Richard; and sister, Joan Almand.
