With two on base in the bottom of the eighth, Matt Page's single wound up plating Quintin Urban after the Bells' centerfielder made an error, knotting the score 2-all.

A.J. Balta gave the Rogues (1-1) the lead by scoring on a wild pitch and Page added insurance on Corey Wynant's sacrifice fly.

Wynant also had a run-scoring single in the seventh inning.

Relief pitcher Corey Harris earned the victory at the mound, going 22/3 innings after spelling starter Mike Bradshaw.

The Bells (1-1) notched both of their runs in the fifth inning to take a 2-0 lead.

Balta, Page and Matt Taylor had two hits apiece.
