1 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon minced, fresh rosemary
1/4 teaspoon minced, fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon minced, fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon minced, fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon minced, fresh cilantro
Soften the butter by leaving it at room temperature for at least a few hours.
Mix the minced herbs together. Put butter in a bowl and thoroughly mash herbs into it with a spoon. Turn butter out onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll wrap until butter forms a log about the size and shape of a stick of butter. Refrigerate. To use, slice off thin pieces of herb butter to place on top of a sizzling steak.
