  • The Arthritis Foundation is offering free aquatics therapy classes in Medford for people with arthritis. The classes will be held at Avamere Health & Fitness Club, 760 Spring St., Medford. Developed by physical therapists specifically for people with arthritis, the water exercise program is intended to reduce arthritis pain and stiffness while keeping joints flexible and muscles strong.

Developed by physical therapists specifically for people with arthritis, the water exercise program is intended to reduce arthritis pain and stiffness while keeping joints flexible and muscles strong.
    The program is taught by Arthritis Foundation certified instructors, who will lead participants through a series of gentle movements and activities designed to increase mobility and range of motion. The ability to swim is not required.
