  • Anybody can race at the stoplight drags for all makes and models offered as part of the Medford Cruise.
The safety tests start at 2 p.m. and the races start at 5 p.m. at the Jackson County Sports Park, 6900 Kershaw Road, White City. Cost is $30 to drag your car, $10 to watch and kids under 6 years old get in for free.
The Cruise's main event rumbles through downtown from 5 to 8:30 p.m. More than 700 cars 1972 and older will roll, two at a time, down Central Avenue to Main Street and through Medford before looping back around.
At dusk, continue the flash-back feel by watching the movie "Grease" in Hawthorne Park.
