PORTLAND — The Portland Trail Blazers will open their NBA Summer League schedule on Saturday, July 13, against the Phoenix Suns in Las Vegas.
The NBA, which released the scheduled Wednesday, says Portland will then play the Lakers on July 14 and the Chicago Bulls on July 16.
After those games, the Trail Blazers and the other 21 teams participating in Las Vegas will be seeded for a single-elimination tournament that ends with a championship game.
The top ten seeds get a first-round bye.
Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was the co-MVP of last year's NBA Summer League, providing fans with a glimpse of what was to come in the regular season, when he averaged 19 points and won the Rookie of the Year award.
