Good and evil take the stage

Camelot Theatre's production of "Jekyll & Hyde" opens tonight.

Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th-century London as the maniacal Edward Hyde, in this bawdy, Tony-nominated musical.

Livia Genise directs, choreography is by Renee Hewitt and music direction is by Michael Wing. Robin Downward of Randall Theatre plays the contrasting roles of Jekyll and Hyde; Kelly Hammond plays Lucy Harris; and Kendra Taylor plays Emma Danvers.

The show opens at 8 p.m., and runs through July 21. Tickets cost $27; $25 for students and seniors (except Sunday matinees). The Camelot Theatre is located at 101 Talent Ave., Talent.
