  • Los Angeles rock, pop and funk trio Olio will perform original tunes at 9 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Caldera Tap House, 31 Water St., Ashland.
Olio is Arif Hodzic on vocals, guitar and keyboard, DeHaven Carrington on drums and Kelley Hill on bass, guitar and vocals. The trio is touring the West Coast promoting its 2012 EP "Comeback Kings," produced and engineered by Eddie Kramer.
The three L.A. bros create songs about break-ups, make-outs, shake-ups or four letter words that are inspired by everyone from Black Sabbath to Barry White.
A full-length album, also to be produced by Kramer, is planned for release this year.
Olio is on the road this summer, playing Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and other cities in June, and Phoenix, Austin, Memphis, Nashville, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta in August.
Listeners must experience Olio's live performances to appreciate the energy generated by the trio. The cover for the Caldera show is $5.
