Cock-a-doodle-doo it up at the 60th annual National Rooster Crowing Contest this weekend in Rogue River.
A fun walk and run will start at 8 a.m. at the middle school. The Rooster Crow parade will be at 10 a.m., led by Grand Marshal John Bond, former mayor and city councilor.
Activities will abound around town after the parade. Look for live music by Don West and Kat from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Billy Lund and Whiskey Weekend from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Woodville Museum bandstand.
The human crow contest will be at 2 p.m., and the rooster crow contest will follow at 2:30 p.m.
Food vendors and arts and crafts booths will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday.
Sunday will feature the Rooster Crow car show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
