"W.M. Blackford has been elected a director of the First National Bank, succeeding J.L. Mr. Blackford has been for many years the attorney for the bank, known as one of the very substantial men of Fergus county, and the addition of his name to the board means an emphasized continuation of the careful management which has always characterized the First National."
W.M. Blackford is the brother of Miss Alice Blackford of Central Point, who is spending the summer with relatives in the east. Some years ago Mr. Blackford spent several months in the Rogue River Valley and has many friends here. Since that time he has been a great admirer of the valley.
