Miss Oregon to appear at Medford Rogues game

Newly crowned Miss Oregon, Allison Cook, will make her first public appearance during a Medford Rogues baseball game on July 20 at Harry & David Field.

The appearance is part of a fundraising effort for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and will involve a 50-50 raffle.

The goal is to raise $2,500 for Asante's CMN Hospitals Program.

In addition, CMN Hospitals at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center will receive $100 for each home run and $500 for each grand slam hit by a Rogues player during home games.

Cook, a student at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, was crowned Miss Oregon on June 29 in Seaside.

The Rogues host the Klamath Falls Gems on July 20. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
