Mary Jean Turner, 67, passed away June 30, 2013 in Medford, Ore.

Mary Jean was born March 16, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Ore. to Mary Zupan Blackwell and Berry Blackwell. She graduated in 1964 from Klamath Union High School. She married Donald Hassler (deceased) and had her first daughter, Candice Renee, in 1966. Later, she married Walt Warmee and had a second daughter, Brandy Elizabeth in 1975. She owned and operated Economy Towing with her husband until his death in 1983.

Mary is survived by daughters, Candy Warmee (Wells McMillan), of Klamath Falls, and Brandy (Sean) Jepsen; two grandsons, Colton Ray and Austin Reed Jepsen, of Central Point; her uncle Jack Zupan and aunt Anne Bruner, of Klamath Falls; cousins in Oregon, Alaska, and Tennessee; and her sister-in-spirit and best friend, Sylvia (Williams) McBride, of Kansas City, Kan.

Mary Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Berry Blackwell; and infant son.

Through out her lifetime, she enjoyed mushroom hunting, beach-combing, and spending time with her family. She cherished every minute with her three-and five-year old grandsons and has left her love with all she knew. She fought cancer for over a year and departed this life with family and friends at her side in her home.
