Identity theft — Nichole Darlene Camarena, 36, of the 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Camarena on a charge of identity theft and warrants for failing to appear on previous theft charges. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and later released because of overcrowding.
Hit and run — Patrick Wilson McCrea, 22, of the first block of Garfield Street, Ashland. Ashland police Monday arrested McCrea on two counts of hit-and-run driving, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and single counts of reckless driving and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
Weapons — Alvin Frank Pires Jr., 27, of the 1300 block of Hammel Road, Eagle Point. Medford police Monday arrested Pires on a charge of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail and released.
Assault — Justin David Ritchie, 28, no known address. Central Point police Monday arrested Ritchie on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, menacing, harassment, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police report. He was lodged in jail on $19,000 bail.
Drugs — Scott Matthew Laine, 35, no known address. Ashland police Monday arrested Laine on out-of-county warrants for possession and delivery of hydrocodone as well as criminal mischief, harassment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
Drugs — Jacob Eugene Snyder, 18, of the 3000 block of Foothill Boulevard, Grants Pass. Snyder made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
Vehicle theft — David Jacob Wise, 27, of the 100 block of Mardan Drive, Grants Pass. Rogue River police Monday arrested Wise on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail and released.
Drugs — Kurtis Neil Knutson, 26, of the 2400 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Knutson made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail and released.
Drugs — Daun Eugene Erickson, 49, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Erikson on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
Burglary — 2800 block of Crater Lake highway, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:41 a.m. Sunday of a burglary and vandalism to a house that led to an arrest and the recovery of the stolen property. The loss, including the vandalism to the inside of the house, was valued at $920.
Theft — Unspecified area in Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:38 a.m. Sunday of the theft of a bag containing a camera, laptop, bus ticket and other items. The loss was valued at $1,390.
Theft — 2300 block of Highgate Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:19 a.m. Monday of the theft of a set of Titleist Sonartec golf clubs and two pairs of Tiger Woods size 10 golf shoes from a building. The loss was valued at $3,330.
Vandalism — 1000 block of LaLoma Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:02 a.m. Monday of vandalism to a building. The loss was valued at $725.
