Jeffery F. Rahenkamp, 38, of Medford, Ore., passed away July 8, 2013, at Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Jeffery was born December 21, 1974, in Edenberg, Texas. He attended North Medford High School, and graduated with his Bachelor's in psychology from Oregon Technical Institute. After school, he enlisted in the Air Force National Guard in Klamath Falls, Ore.

He lived most of his life in Medford, but traveled extensively. He spent the earlier part of his career trying multiple professions until he found his passion as a business owner and founder of PHAT KAT Tattoo and Piercing. He started PHAT KAT in 2003 which has since earned the reputation of quality and high workmanship. Among his peers, Jeff was thought of as a generous, fun-loving person who enjoyed making others laugh. He was involved in hosting and sponsoring many community and civic events. He enjoyed sailing, scuba diving, and flying among many other interests.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen; father, Gene; brothers, Jason and Nick; sisters, Kathleen, Gena, and Breanna; daughters, Keely and Megumi; and his loving dog, Daisy.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Donahue Frohnmayer Park, corner of Spring Street and Springbrook Road, Medford.
