Emergency crews learn boating skills
Police and firefighters from across the state will train on the Rogue River next week during the Oregon State Marine Board's annual Drift Boat School.
Dozens of students, including law enforcement, firefighters, and instructors, will learn water rescue, river navigation, whitewater reading, technical rescue, boat recovery and basic safety. The training also includes traditional classroom sessions.
