  • A touring exhibit of Biblical art is coming to Pioneer Hall in Ashland.
    The exhibit, "Birds, Beasts and Beauty," will open at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at the hall, 73 Winburn Way.
    Admission to the opening reception costs $10 per person.
    The exhibit will be open daily, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., through Sunday, July 28, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, July 29. Daily admission is free.
    Free guided tours will be offered at 1 and 5 p.m. daily. There will be live music from 6 to 8 p.m. daily.
    On Friday, an ice tea bar will offer a sample of specialty teas and appetizers for $10. Seatings are at 1 and 3 p.m.
    A blessing of the animals is set for 10 a.m. Saturday. People and their pets will gather at the Plaza, then walk to Pioneer Hall. Pets must be on leashes or in carriers.
