  • Hanley Farm, 1053 Hanley Road, Central Point, will host a four-course dinner and history talk from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27.
    The event will feature Southern Oregon University archaeologist Chelsea Rose, who will speak about pioneer Peter Britt. SOU archaeologists discovered the remains of his cabin, built in 1852.
    The event costs $65 per person, or $50 per person for Southern Oregon Historical Society members. Call 541-773-6536 or visit www.sohs.org for ticket information.
