  • Robin Lea Vance Willard passed away in her Medford home July 19, 2013. She was born November 3, 1957 in Ieager, W.V. to Dennis Jack Lester and Joy Lester. Her parents relocated to Oregon when Robin was a young child. The Phoenix countryside and Calhoun Peach Orchard was her playground. Those early years were spent with neighbors, friends, and family. She was a nurturing caregiver and friend to all of them.
Robin married Phillip Vance in 1975. They raised their two daughters around the mountains, lakes, and rivers of this area. She was always ready to go hiking, exploring, and treasure hunting in the woodlands. She appreciated God's bounty and was thankful for the peace she received from the beauty of nature, with a song in her heart and a joyful spirit.
After the loss of her first husband she was lucky to meet and marry Tim Willard. Tim stood by her through the trials of her illness and embraced her family as his own.
Robin is survived by her husband, Tim; mother, Joy; stepfather Alce; and sister, Sherri; daughters, Melissa and Emily (Scott); grandchildren, Kaleb, Lyrik, Anderson, and Kynnedy. She will be missed by a large family and all that knew and loved her.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Rd., Eagle Point.
