  • Georgia Elizabeth Adams, 92, passed away July 12, 2013. She was born in Prineville, Ore. May 22, 1921, to George and Jennie (McCullough) Meyer.
After high school, she was a legal secretary for the State of Oregon Attorney Generals' Office. She married the late Archie Walter Adams at McChord Field, Wash., moved to Medford, Ore., and started a family.
Georgia is survived by their four children; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Church, Altar Society President, Marylhurst Associate, and the Petunias. She most valued her faith, family, and many friends. She will be remembered as Mom and best friend, Cub Scout leader, hod carrier, dedicated fisherman, avid bridge player, water exercise survivor, crossword puzzle expert, and Jeopardy-contestant wannabe. Her green thumb ran on the wild side. Music, peanut butter, and chocolate sustained her.
