The Lake Oswego Little League baseball team beat Klamath Falls American, 7-0, in the age 11-12 state championship game at Medford National Little League Fields on Saturday.
Lake Oswego will next compete at regionals Aug. 2-10 in San Bernardino, Calif.
In the semifinals Saturday, Lake Oswego downed Sprague, 3-0, and Klamath Falls American edged Hermiston, 6-5.
Lake Oswego jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning against Klamath Falls American in the final.
Medford National lost to Lake Oswego, 11-5, in the single-elimination tournament on Thursday.
AGE 9-10 STATE TOURNAMENT — At Salem, the Medford National All-Star team won its opening-round contest 5-4 over Eugene with a walk-off double by Garrett Smith in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The local squad will next play Klamath Falls American at 5 p.m. Monday in the Little League tournament.

NORTH MEDFORD 5-11, CENTRAL POINT 4-5 — At Central Point, the doubleheader sweep Friday moves North Medford into a first-place tie with Central Point in the American Legion A Area 4 standings and gives the Mavericks the tiebreaker for the No. 1 seed.
In the opener, Dakota Adams scored the winning run in the sixth inning by stealing home after getting on base with a single and advancing to third.
Adams had two hits and Ryan Sutton added two hits and one RBI for North.
In Game 2, Christian Gillis and Brett Pearson both rapped four hits and had three RBIs to lead North Medford. Josh Berman contributed three hits, including a three-run homer in the seventh inning.
