  • A band called Calico comes to Johnny B's Rockin' Diner, 120 E. Sixth St., Medford.
California country and Americana trio performs three-part vocal harmonies that promoters say are "reminiscent of an earthier Dixie Chicks mixed with Crosby, Stills, and Nash." The group takes the stage at 9 p.m.
Manda "Perry Rose" Mosher, Kirsten "Snap Dragon" Proffit and Jaime "Juniper" Wyatt alternate singing lead vocals and collectively play mandolin, banjo, harmonica, and acoustic and resonator guitars.
Actively touring while putting the final touches on its debut EP, Calico played in Ashland on Sunday.
