Marion Haugland, 87, of Medford, Ore., passed away July 22, 2013, in Medford. She was born November 28, 1925, to Isabella and Walter Munger in Seattle, Wash.
She graduated from Franklin High School, Seattle, Wash., in 1943 and she resided in Seattle until she married Robert Haugland in Mount Vernon, Wash., January 1, 1946. They made their home in Anacortes, Wash., where she lived until moving to Medford. Ore. in 2009. Marion was a nurse's aid in the 1960s through the 1970s in Anacortes.
Her hobbies included antiques, needlepoint, bowling, church activities, travel, and taking care of her home. She was a past member of Eastern Star and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Anacortes for over 60 years.
Marion is survived by son, Leonard Haugland, of Camby, Indiana; daughters, Nancy Simpson, of Sedro Woolley, Wash. and Roberta Kress (Ron), of Eagle Point, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Munger in 1945 during World War II; husband, Robert Haugland in 1978; and son, Richard Haugland in 2007.
