  • Robert Lee Webster passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Providence Medford Medical Center. Robert was born in Torrance, Calif. August 1, 1926 to Hallie Mae and Arthur Valentine Webster.
    Robert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He attended Monrovia High School in Monrovia, Calif. and served for three years during the Korean War. He went into war as a Private and left as a Sergeant and received numerous medals.
    Robert and his family lived in Glendora, Calif. for nine years where he worked for Aerojet General Corporation in the neighboring town of Azusa, Calif. He and his family moved to Carson City, Nev. in 1969 where he worked for the Carson City School District for 17 years. Afterward, he retired in 1988 at the age of 62 and moved to Oregon with his family.
    Robert enjoyed everything life had to offer, including his family and his friends.
    Robert leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou; daughters, Kathleen and Melanie; grandchildren, Brandon, Nicole, and Shaun; and great-grandchild, Sophia, all of Medford, Ore.; nephew, Philip George, of Seaside, Calif.; in-laws, Robert and Sheryl Cahill, of Escondido, Calif.; and long-time friend, Mary-Lou Kelliher, of Hopatcong, N.J.
