Roselle Anderson Walker passed away unexpectedly July 28, 2013 at her home in Central Point, Ore.
Roselle was born in Evanston, Ill., to William and Emma Falzer January 7, 1929. She moved to California with her husband, Bert Anderson. She was advertising manager for the San Francisco Examiner, and manager of the City of Pleasant Hill. She had found her niche and she and Bert traveled extensively around the world.
She was married to Bert for 41 years and had two children before his sudden passing in 1988. She remarried a few years later to Allen Walker. In Allen she found another travel soul mate and for 10 years they happily traveled, lastly taking a cruise around the world. This was a 'dream come true' for her. After Allen passed, she moved to Oregon to be closer to her daughter.
Roselle was a wonderful artist. She enjoyed dancing, golf, theatre and her Red Hat ladies. She was involved in many committees at The Meadows.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Mary Anne) Anderson, of Ohio; daughter, Pat Anderson, of Ore.; granddaughters, Tiffany Anderson, of Ariz., and Michelle Anderson, of Ohio.
At her request there will be no funeral. A celebration of Roselle's life will held on Aug. 20, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the community center in The Meadows. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army, ACCESS, National Wildlife or Veterans.
