Rape — David Morgan Arnold, 22, of the 700 block of Garfield Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Arnold on four counts of third-degree rape. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail on $500,000 bail.
Fugitive — Logan M. Vinas, 30, of the 15000 block of Highway 238, Grants Pass. Oregon State Police on Monday arrested Vinas on a fugitive warrant out of New York. He was lodged in jail without bail.
Warrant — Jacob Daniel McFadden, 25, of the 600 block of Broadway Street, Rogue River. Central Point police Monday arrested McFadden on an out-of-county warrant for possession of oxycodone and for failing to appear on burglary, theft and drug charges. He was lodged in jail on $60,000 bail.
Identity theft — Dustin John Bell, 38, of the 11500 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Bell on five counts of identity theft, two counts of forgery, two counts of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft and for failing to appear on a misdemeanor theft charge. He was lodged in jail on $62,000 bail.
Hit and run — Vincent Edward Harper, 23, of the 200 block of Tolman Creek Road, Ashland. Harper made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of hit-and-run driving, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and for violating the conditions of his probation for a previous hit-and-run conviction. He was booked Monday in jail and released.
Warrants — Jimmy Davis McClain, 45, no known address. Central Point police Monday arrested McClain on four out-of-county warrants for attempted aggravated theft, unlawful use of a computer and several fraud charges. He was lodged in jail on $150,000 bail.
Burglary — 2500 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:41 a.m. Monday of a burglary to a residence from which a 2-karat diamond ring, a pearl necklace and pearl/diamond earrings were stolen. The loss was valued at $10,800.
Burglary — 1000 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 8:41 a.m. Monday of a burglary to a business from which 20 cartons of cigarettes were stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000.
Vandalism — 2600 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:44 a.m. Monday of a vandalism to a business where an electronic card-reader for a door and a glass door were damaged. The loss was valued at $900.
