The John F. Kennedy exhibit will host a Peace Corps Forum at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave., Medford.
The forum will provide an opportunity to learn how Kennedy's inaugural address provided the "spirit" that would become the essence of the Peace Corps.
The free event will include a guest speaker, video presentation and an invitation for open mic for returned Peace Corps volunteers (three to five minutes each) to share personal stories. There will also be information about how to join the Peace Corps.
The JFK exhibit, a collection of Kennedy memorabilia and photos owned by Butte Falls resident Joyce Hailicka, will continue through Nov. 22 at the Medford Center between Ashley Furniture and Oz Fitness. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
