Gerald (Jerry) Leroy Senn, 76, of Prospect, Ore. passed away August 1, 2013 at Avamere Three Fountains in Medford, Ore. after a short illness. He was born December 15, 1936 to Joseph and Anna Senn in San Francisco, Calif.
He served a short period of time in the Army Reserves after graduating from Venice High School in Venice, Calif. in 1954. As a young adult he enjoyed fishing for halibut and tuna with his father off the coast of California. During the '60s and '70s he worked for Everest & Jennings as a laborer.
In 1964 he married Lacy Cooksey who preceded him in death in 1998. In 2007 he married LouAnn Rucker who survives.
Jerry enjoyed fishing and collecting. He also loved dancing at the Medford Senior Center and listening to the Old Time Fiddlers and he was an avid club member for both.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lacy; and his brother, Joseph Senn Jr.
He is survived by his current wife, LouAnn Rucker, of Prospect; sister, Virginia Greenwal, of Maine; daughter, Cindy Boudreau, of Rogue River, Ore.; son, Jerry W. Senn, of Washington; two stepdaughters, Diane Wann, of Grants Pass, Ore. and Linda Sizemore, of Springfield, Ore.; two stepsons, Ronald Rucker, of Medford and Steven Rucker, of Prospect.
A memorial service will be held at the Nazarene Church in Prospect, Ore.; date/time to be announced at a later date.
