Felony arrests

  • Burglary — Glenn Raymond Rock, 50, of the 2700 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Rock on charges of a parole violation, first-degree burglary and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $4,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Samuel James Cliff, 36, of the 2800 block of Merriman Road, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Cliff on charges of possession of methamphetamine and interfering with a peace officer. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Rape, sex abuse — Mario Nicasio-Argueta, 26 of the 1800 block of Prune Street, Medford. Medford police Sunday arrested Nicasio-Argueta on three charges of second-degree rape, three charges of first-degree sex abuse and a charge of illegal immigration status. He was lodged in jail on $1,000,000 bail.
  • Robbery, theft — Ashley Nicole Smith, 25, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Smith on charges of third-degree robbery and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $18,000 bail.
