Rogues, credit union team up to fight hunger

The Medford Rogues' inaugural season strikeout count resulted in a $3,400 donation from Rogue Federal Credit Union to ACCESS food pantry programs.

The credit union partnered with the baseball club at the beginning of the season for a "Strike Out Hunger" program, agreeing to donate $10 for each strikeout. After 340 strikeouts, officials presented the check.

The funds will go toward numerous ACCESS programs, including the 25 food pantries around Jackson County that support thousands of area residents.
