St. Mark's Episcopal folksto bring food pantry items

Parishoners of St. Mark's Episcopal Church will bring bags filled with canned food and toiletries for the food pantry in the parish hall during worship services held at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at 140 N. Oakdale Ave., Medford. The services for Aug. 25 and Sept. 1 will be adapted from the New Zealand Prayer Book, and Holy Eucharist will be served at the services.

Unitarian Universalists' topic is the 'Gift of Mysticism'

Christ Unity Church lesson: 'Only Good Can Come'

Rev. Rob Wheeler's lesson will be "Only Good Can Come" at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford. Guest musician will be Paul Gerardi.

Unitarian Universalists talk of the meaning of hospitality

The Medford Unitarian Universalists will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at the Masonic Center, 975 N. Phoenix Road. The topic will be "Exploring the Meaning of Hospitality," and Carolyn Layton and Camille Korsmo will lead the congregation in a "chalice circle" style of service. Call 541-899-1026.

Center for Spiritual Living features singer Bridget Wolf

Guest speaker Rev. Jim Hatton will speak on "The Life of a Spiritual Master II" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 3581 Lear Way, Medford. A children's program will be held during the service.

Guest musician and singer Bridget Wolf will perform music using the Native American drum and encourages the congregation to bring their drums. A drumming healing circle will be held after the service.
