  • The Rogue Valley YMCA's preschool and child care programs received two grants totaling $32,000, which will help increase the number of children that can enroll.
The programs received the grants from the Reed and Carolee Walker Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation and from the Anna May Family Foundation.
YMCA officials said the funds will help as the number of families in the area losing access to child care services because of state and federal budget cuts is increasing.
