Stricker, DeLaet sew up spots on Presidents Cup team

NORTON, Mass. — Steve Stricker and Zach Johnson earned spots the Presidents Cup team after their performance in the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Stricker was runner-up, while Johnson earned the 10th and final spot for the American team after making a 25-foot birdie putt on the last hole to beat out Webb Simpson by $5,715.

Other team members are Tiger Woods, Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley, Bill Haas and Hunter Mahan. Graham DeLaet of Canada finished third to secure his spot on the International team. His teammates are Adam Scott, Jason Day, Charl Schwartzel, Ernie Els, Louis Oosthuizen, Hideki Matsuyama, Branden Grace, Richard Sterne and Angel Cabrera.
