Virginia "Ginny", 77, of Medford, Ore., went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 1, 2013, at her home.
Ginny was born February 7, 1936, in Nowata, Okla., to Earl and Ruth Parrett. The family of 14 resided in Los Angeles, Calif., before settling down in Camas Valley, Ore. It was in Camas Valley where she met and married Keith Moore, who preceded her in death, in 1952. Together they had three children, Cassandra Moore, Ronald Moore, and Mitchell Moore, who also preceded her in death. In 1968 she met, on a blind date, Richard "Dick" Card. His three sons, Jon, David, and Michael Card, further blessed her life as a mother and as a family combined. Together she and Dick raised a beautiful family of six children, 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren in their 45 years of marriage.
In 1980 they founded Combined Transport, Inc., a Central Point - based trucking company. Through many years of living in the Rogue Valley and many years of business operations beyond, Ginny was blessed with many wonderful relationships. She loved to read, garden, and serve others as a sponsor for a local AA program. She very much adored her family and friends.
Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl, Jack, Donald Lee, Allan, Larry, and Eddie; and her sisters, Polly, Nita, and Pee Wee. She is survived by her twin brothers, Richard and Robert.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at Table Rock Fellowship, 3610 N. Pacific Hwy., Medford, OR. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request a donation be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
