  • Police seek help in missing man case

  • There seems to be a lot of missing persons around this area lately. I am wondering if police have found the man in White City who went missing in July. I hope he is OK and has contacted his family since the last news reports I saw.

Missing person cases are notoriously difficult Megan, but the Jackson County Sheriff's Department is actively working the vanishing of Christopher Jon Evans.
The agency sent out a news release this past week seeking additional public assistance in Evans' case. Investigators hope someone will come forward with information leading to the discovery of his whereabouts.
Evans was reported missing by family members on July 29, which was his birthday.
Evans has a warrant for his arrest. Investigators stress that they are primarily concerned for his welfare. Friends and family members say it is unusual for him to go this long without contacting them. Friends have distributed fliers to area businesses asking the public to report any information about Evans' whereabouts.
Evans is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Evans has multiple tattoos on his neck, back and arms. He is known to wear baggy clothing.
