Felony arrests

  • Sodomy — Michael Dean Murray, 59, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Murray on two counts of first-degree sodomy. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $2 million bail.
  • Money laundering — Tomas Hernandez-Colindres, 66, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers Monday arrested Hernandez-Colindres on a charge of money laundering. He was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.
  • Theft — Garret Alan Ledford, 18, of the 1600 block of Kings Highway, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Ledford on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail then released because of overcrowding.
  • Sex abuse — Pablo Armando Avila, 54, of the 800 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Avila on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail while his immigration status was reviewed.
  • Fugitive — Alejandro Diego Delavega, 47, of the 2500 block of Agate Meadows, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Delavega on a fugitive warrant out of Washington. He was lodged in jail on $250,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Anthony Wayne Miller, 41, of Centrailia, Wash. Oregon State Police troopers Monday arrested Miller on delivery and possession of both methamphetamine and heroin, as well as an out-of-county warrant for second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $11,234 bail.
  • Drugs — Randal Dean Mauel, 42, of Chehalis, Wash. Oregon State Police troopers Monday arrested Mauel on charges of delivery and possession of both methamphetamine and heroin. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Briana L. Carrothers, 23, of Rochester, Wash. Oregon State Police troopers Monday arrested Carrothers on charges of possession and delivery of both heroin and methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Ernest Joseph Longhini III, 27, of the 200 block of Eva Way, Talent. Medford police Monday arrested Longhini on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants and attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Earl John Wilson, Jr., 32, of the 1300 block of Bonita Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Wilson on charges of possession of methamphetamine, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and failing to appear on a previous littering charge. He was lodged in jail then released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Raymond LaRue Grove, 55, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Grove on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving while suspended and for violating the conditions of his probation from a past drug conviction. He was lodged in jail on $53,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Halie Anne Sparkman, 21, of the 4200 block of South Stage Road, Medford. Sparkman made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of heroin. She was booked into jail and released.
  • Rape — Edgar Leonel Perez-Izara, 42, of the first block of Cottage Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Perez-Izara on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary, first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree rape, coercion and on suspicion of being an illegal alien. He was lodged in the jail on more than $3 million bail.
  • Drugs — Paula Ann Lee, 23, of the 1400 block of Yellowstone Avenue, Medford. Lee made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released.
