    The junior midfielder scored both goals as the Challengers claimed their first ever victory over Hidden Valley, 2-0. Auchard tallied in the eighth and 57th minutes.

    The junior running back ran 21 times for 203 yards and touchdowns of 30, 8 and 1 yards, and also scored on a 7-yard reception in the Black Tornado's 42-12 nonleague victory over McKay.
    Tyson Morris, Phoenix football
    The senior running back had rushing touchdowns of 4, 15 and 5 yards and finished with 81 yards on 13 carries in a 41-0 nonconference romp over Coquille.
    Darren Stillwagon, Prospect football
    The junior quarterback completed 18 of 30 passes for 199 yards and touchdowns of 15 and 29 yards and rushed 27 times for 196 yards and a 72-yard score in a 54-18 District 2 loss to Powers.
    Gracie Tostenson, Crater girls cross country
    The senior ran the state's second-fastest time for 5,000 meters, clocking 18:29 in the Bill Chapman Invitational at Hillsboro. She was second in a field of 234 runners.
