Marcia Gohman to speak about fair housing Sept. 19

Marcia Gohman of the National Tenant Network will speak about fair housing and screening reviews at the next meeting of the Southern Oregon Rental Owners Association on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Gohman has owned the Oregon branch of NTN since 2000 and is a member of the Oregon Rental Housing Association board.

The event is at Twin Creeks Retirement Center, 888 Twin Creeks Crossing, Central Point.

A tenant screening class is offered at 5:15 p.m., followed by dinner and the 7 p.m. program.

Dinner is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The program is free.

Realtors group forms Young Professional Network branch

The Rogue Valley Association of Realtors has formed a Young Professional Network chapter to serve as a hub for cutting-edge tools and resources to enhance member businesses.

The group plans to involve itself in community service efforts, according to a news release.

A kickoff event for the group is from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at Bear Creek Park pavilion.

YPN is open to rookie and veteran agents.

Tom's Bronco Parts will be featured on TruckU TV

Tom's Bronco Parts of Medford is scheduled to be featured on TruckU TV, a do-it-yourself automotive show that airs on the Great American Country network.

The episode will air at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

During the episode, TruckU will feature several parts provided by Tom's Bronco Parts as they go through the work of customizing and repairing a 1976 Ford Bronco. The local company supplied a complete cooling system to cure an overheating issue in the Bronco.

Tom's Bronco Parts supplies parts for 1966-1977 Ford Broncos and has been in business for 30 years.
