Gene Wyatt, 68, passed away September 7, 2013, at his home. He was born September 15, 1944, in Dinuba, Calif., to Ruth Wyatt. He grew up in Prospect, Ore., and lived the last 40 years of his life in Central Point, Ore.
He married Victoria Ragsdale March 17, 1973, in Reno, Nev. Gene was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, and coaching. He founded the Jr. Comets Youth Wrestling Club.
Gene is survived by his wife, Victoria; son, Troy (Sarah) Wyatt, of Newberg, Ore.; daughters, DeEtta Macy, Gina Gilbert, and Tracy Wyatt, all of Central Point, Ore.; sisters, Ida Mae (Michael) Ring, of Grand Ronde, Ore., Opal (Ralph) Spliethof, of Selma, Ore., and Lynnda (Jimmy) Sooter, of Vinita, Okla.; brothers, Jay (Chris) Wyatt, of Eagle Point, Ore., and Neal (Faye) Teague, of Dallas, Texas; and 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his step-father, J.B Wyatt; and sister, Mary Fay Wyatt.
An open house will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at his home.
