Cave Junction bank robber sought

Oregon State Police are investigating an armed bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon in Cave Junction.

The suspect entered the Sterling Bank branch at 101 N. Redwood Highway at 4:15 p.m. and presented a note to a teller and displayed a firearm, OSP said in a news release.

The suspect is described as a white adult male, 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with black hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a red and brown or gray plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and tan-colored, hiking-style boots.

His face may have acne pock marks.
