SALEM — The Brotherton Pipeline men's fastpitch softball team placed fourth at ASA Nationals earlier this month.
The Boise River Dogs won the tournament.
Utility player Brent Hanes and infielders Ryan Agino and Keith Willard were named to the tournament first team.
Brotherton Pipeline went 3-2, falling to the Roseville Eagles of Citrus Heights, Calif., 10-3, before earning victories over JRW & Associates of Yakima, Wash., 5-3, the Redhawks of Ukiah, Calif., 6-5, and Interbay Door of Seattle, Wash., 11-4. In its fifth contest, Brotherton Pipeline lost to K-Club of Moses Lake, Wash., 5-3.
