Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Barzin Akhavan — starring in the festival's productions of "King Lear" and "Cymbeline" this year — will present "Behfarmaheen" (If You Please), the true story of a young man's journey to find a place in two worlds divided: Iran and America.
The one-man show uses multilingual dialogue, traditional Iranian music and American pop culture and is set for 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in the Thomas Theatre on the OSF campus, 15 S. Pioneer St., Ashland.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.osfashland.org or by calling 800-219-8161.
The show is part of OSF Presents, a program designed to give OSF artists an arena to share their art with the public. These shows, typically developed outside of the festival, may feature OSF company members, guest artists, directors, designers, or Green Show artists presenting their one person shows or more adult material.
