Food pairings: Wild mushrooms, root vegetables, truffles, risotto, meatloaf, crab bisque, Yukon Gold potato hash with chanterelles, acorn squash and shallots.

Tasting notes: Bright, lively wine with aromas of fresh pomegranate juice and tart pie cherries and flavors of maraschino cherries intertwined with a rich cola component. Subtle oak leads the way to a viscous and lingering finish.
