  • There is no shortage of jokes where Ur Mom is concerned. The acoustic trio — Leslie Phillips on guitar, Lynn Kunstman on tambourine and kazoo, and Heather Ayers on guitar, mandolin and percussion — is out to have a good time.
"I teach middle school during the day and that's where I get my irreverent sense of humor," Ayers says.
The three women play an eclectic mix of music that includes country, folk, rock, blues and soul. Cover songs vary from Dylan, the Dead and the Eagles to The Wailin' Jennys and the Indigo Girls.
"Def Leppard has never been done the way we do it with three-part harmonies and mandolin," Ayers jokes.
Ur Mom will play from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at Enoteca Wine Tasting and Bistro, 17 N. Main St., Ashland. The show is free.
