  • The city of Medford, in collaboration with the Medford Arts Commission, will unveil two large-scale outdoor murals — “Time Flies” and “Our View From Here” — by Portland artist Jennifer Gillia Cutshall at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Santo Community Center, 701 N. Columbus Ave., Medford. The 8-by-60-foot “Our View From Here” (above) runs along the breezeway adjacent to the community center’s main entrance on Jackson Street, and features local landmarks and the natural beauty of the Rogue Valley. The 8-by-44-foot, whimsical “Time Flies” mural adorns the wall of the Youth Activity Center facing McAndrews Road and depicts fly computer monitors, zany clocks and a child riding a bicycle under a starry sky. Light refreshments will be served at the reception. Call 541-774-2483 or see www.ci.medford.or.us.
