Clarence L. Porter, Jr., 70, passed away September 26, 2013 at his home. He was born January 4, 1943 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Clarence and Faye Porter.

On January 5, 2002 he married Celeste Krambeal. Clarence served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He had a career as a truck driver with an education in Hydraulics Engineering. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Celeste Porter; son, Charley Porter; daughters, Irene Thom-as and Rose Porter; sisters, Barbara (Archie) Criner and Diana (Steve) Corkilll, and Linda Hashman; and six grandchildren. He was pre-ceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service is being held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, Oct-ober 4, 2013, at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Wilbur Boatwright will be officiating. Following the burial, a gath-ering will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Grange Hall, Eagle Point.
