Robert Bell 74, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 29, 2013. He was born September 6, 1939 as an only child to Rex and Lucille Bell in Marshall, Mo. He moved with his family to Southern California during WWII. He met the love of his life, Janette Bailey, in 1955 and they were married in Norwalk, Calif., in the summer of 1958.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. His first daughter, Bobbi, was born in 1960, followed by daughter, Donna, in 1962. He worked for Bethlehem Steel until the family decided to move to the Rogue Valley in 1968. Over the years, he worked for Cascade Wood Products, on the Alaska Pipeline, Rogue Valley Medical Center, as well as building a mobile home park. Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. He and Janette loved going on cruises and traveled extensively throughout the world.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janette; daughters Bobbi (Duane) Schneider of Roseburg, Oregon and Kami Donna (Jason) Rose of Medford, Ore.; six grandsons, Craig Rydholm and Daniel Stone of Peoria, Ariz., Robert, Timothy and Logan Stone of N.Y., and Anthony Schneider of Roseburg, Ore.; and a grandaughter, Miriya Stone of N.Y. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rex and Lucille Bell.

A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary, Medford, OR. rev. Kim Hodge officiating.
