  • ASHLAND — Senior halfback Nick Chouard scored two goals and junior forward Lucas Golding and sophomore forward Stenley Graham each added a goal and an assist as Class 5A Ashland improved to 2-0-1 against 6A competition and 4-1-1 overall with a 6-0 nonleague rout of Crater on Wednesday.

  • ASHLAND — Senior halfback Nick Chouard scored two goals and junior forward Lucas Golding and sophomore forward Stenley Graham each added a goal and an assist as Class 5A Ashland improved to 2-0-1 against 6A competition and 4-1-1 overall with a 6-0 nonleague rout of Crater on Wednesday.
    Chouard needed just three minutes to tally his two goals, first off a Graham assist in the second minute and then unassisted in the third. Golding tacked on goal No. 3, with an assist by Dylan Woodruff, in the 20th minute and Graham made it 4-0 with a spectacular bicycle kick in the 24th.
    Crater (0-7) was shutout for the fifth time.

    Skyline Conference
    KLAMATH UNION 2, HIDDEN VALLEY 1 — At Murphy, Stephanie Lindsay netted Hidden Valley's goal in Skyline Conference action.
    Klamath Union (4-2-1, 2-1 Sky) jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Lindsay scored in the first half for the Mustangs (1-6, 1-2 Sky).
    Southern Cascade Hybrid
    ILLINOIS VALLEY 2, ROGUE RIVER 0 — At Rogue River, Mikael Cusumano scored in the first half and Kynan Nordal in the second half for Illinois Valley in SCH action.
    Cusumano's goal came on an assist from Gabby Cruz in the 30th minute for the Cougars (4-4, 2-2 SCH).
    Nordal scored in the 60th against Rogue River (1-5, 1-3 SCH).
