  • A man was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure while trying to arouse himself in Lithia Park Thursday, police reported.
Gregory Scott Lewis, 56, of White City, was arrested by police and booked in the Jackson County Jail, according to a news release from the Ashland Police Department. Records show he is no longer in the jail.
Lewis's behavior was reported to police just before noon Thursday, Oct. 3.
"There were two witnesses that observed it," said Deputy Chief Corey Falls.
The police report does not list specifically where in Lithia Park Lewis was spotted. Lewis was arrested on charges of public indecency and given a trespass affidavit, meaning he cannot enter any City of Ashland parks, police said. No juveniles were in the area during the incident, police said.
