St. Mary's quarterback Denten Edwards accounted for four touchdowns and the Crusaders pounded Chemawa, 63-8, in nonleague football action on Saturday at Spiegelberg Stadium.
Edwards was just 2-for-4 passing but both his completions went for scores: a 5-yard strike to Jacob Smith and a 13-yard TD throw to Sam Hough.
The signal caller also had scoring runs of 51 and 16 yards for the Crusaders (4-1), who led 56-0 at halftime.
Anthony Bonsi had 104 yards on six carries, including a 58-yard TD sprint and a 20-yard scoring run.
Hough turned in a 52-yard fumble return for a touchdown and Smith chipped in a 20-yard TD run against Chemawa (0-2).
Nick Van Valkenburg was 9-for-9 on extra-point attempts for St. Mary's, which finished with 240 rushing yards.
